BAKU.03.12.2004. MEDIA-PRESS: Iran, Russia and India confirmed official inquiries of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Syria on joining to the agreement on ITR "North - South", - the General Secretary of the ITR "North - South" Mr. Mohammad Javad Atrchiyan has said.
Now 10 states are shareholders of the agreement: Iran, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Oman, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Syria. According to point 13 of this agreement these three states are to start execution of terms of agreement on the ITR "North - South" in a months.
To date official inquiries of Bulgaria, Kirgizstan, Turkey and Ukraine on joining to the ITR are considered.
