BAKU.03.12.2004. MEDIA-PRESS: The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Tourism of Azerbaijan have conducted inspection of eight hotels on subject of determination of their class. The Minister of Sport and Tourism Mr. Abulfaz Garayev has said this.
By his words no any hotel has managed to receive the document certifying their class, which they wanted to get. By results of inspection they have had terms for removal of shortcomings and after this they may receive certificates. The next year inspection of all hotels of the country will be conducted.
The Minister has informed also that 261 hotels operate to date in Azerbaijan. Family hotels, camps and hotel complexes are included into this number.
