THE NEXT MEETING OF FOREIGN MINISTERS OF AZERBAIJAN AND ARMENIA WILL TAKE PLACE IN SOFIA

The next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia will take place on the 5 - 6th of December in Sofia within frameworks of the sitting of the Council of the Foreign Ministers of the countries-members of the OSCE. The Foreign Minister of foreign ministry of Azerbaijan Mr. Elmar Mamedyarov has said in interview to the TV channel ATV of Azerbaijan.
At the same time the Minister has not said something about forthcoming meeting as continuation of the Prague negotiations of the Foreign Ministers of both countries, which were hold on the 30th August.
"It is untimely to talk, whether it is continuation of the Prague process or not". Because on negotiations with co-chairmen of the Minsk Group of the OSCE in New-York and meeting with the Foreign Minister of Armenia in Berlin we have declared that if we want continuation of peaceful process it would be necessary to start the second stage and negotiate seriously".
He has noted that the second stage of negotiations is to be led only on basis of agreements achieved in Prague.
