RUSSIA OFFERS TURKEY ASSISTANCE IN OPTIMIZATION OF TRAVELLING OF SHIPS IN BOSPORUS

Russia offers assistance in optimization of the traveling of ships in Bosporus. The Minister of Industry and Energy of the RF, the chief of the Russian part of the Russian-Turkish intergovernmental commission on trade-economic development Mr. Victor Khristenko has declared to the journalists about this.
By his words, the Russian specialists have high qualification and large experience in adjustment of issues of such kind.
As it is informed in the site of "Transneft", Mr V. Khristenko has noted that on the sitting of the commission possible schemes of passing roundabout Bosporus by land. The Turkish side has suggested its variants of the construction of pipelines for oil transportation by its territory. "We have 12 projects on passing roundabout the Black Sea strait. Similar projects appear once a year", - the Minister of Industry and Power of Russia has said.
As he has said, "economy of the project" will be main criteria at construction of the pipelines. "Transportation by roundabout route would not be higher than transportation by the strait", - the Minister has emphasized. By his words, it will require regime of preferences for the countries, territory of which the pipeline will cross. "It is not easy theme. We shall discuss it further and further, keeping reliable and safe regime of navigation in Bosporus", - the Ministry has concluded.
